Job summary

RGB Network seeks a Fire & Security Technical Services Manager in Kettering to oversee daily engineering operations across reactive call-outs, planned servicing and installation projects. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £40,000–£50,000 and a company vehicle, phone, laptop and pension.

You will lead the engineering team, allocate resources, coordinate with office and site teams, and ensure work is delivered to schedule while maintaining NSI standards.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills.
• Technical knowledge of fire and security systems.
• Proven leadership experience in a contracting environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily engineering operations for reactive call-outs, planned servicing and installations.
• Allocate field resources and manage capacity across teams.
• Ensure labour, equipment and stock are ready before engineers attend site.
• Lead and coach engineers, driving workmanship and service quality.
• Coordinate with office and field teams to meet deadlines.
• Support NSI compliance and regulatory requirements.
