Job summary

Manpower is seeking a Fire & Security Service & Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team across commercial and industrial sites in the Northeast. You will service, fault-find, test, repair and support a range of fire and security systems while delivering high levels of customer service.

The role offers long-term career development, ongoing training and exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

Proven experience within the Fire & Security industry.
Strong service, maintenance and fault-finding background.
Experience working on a variety of fire alarm and electronic security systems.
Ability to diagnose faults and provide effective solutions.

Responsibilities

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits across customer sites.
Responding to reactive maintenance requests and emergency call-outs.
Diagnosing faults and identifying root causes of system issues.
Carrying out repairs, remedial works, component replacements and system modifications.
Testing systems to ensure full operational performance and compliance.
Producing accurate service reports and maintenance records.
Advising customers on system performance and recommended improvements.
Supporting installation and commissioning activities where required.
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with industry standards.
