Job summary

Manpower UK in the Northeast is seeking a Fire & Security Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will service, fault find, test and repair a range of life safety and electronic security systems across commercial and industrial sites, delivering high standards of customer service.

The role covers planned maintenance, reactive call-outs, system modifications and ongoing training, with clear career development opportunities and a company

Qualifications

• Proven experience within the Fire & Security industry.
• Strong service, maintenance and fault-finding background.
• Experience working on a variety of fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and provide effective solutions.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned maintenance and inspection programmes.
• Attend breakdowns and reactive call-outs.
• Fault diagnosis, repairs and corrective actions.
• Complete system testing and verification.
• Identify remedial works and improvement opportunities.
• Provide basic user training and system demonstrations when required.
