Job summary
Recruitment Helpline is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their Nottingham team. The role covers installation, servicing and commissioning of security and life-safety systems in commercial environments.
You will gain exposure to access control, CCTV, fire alarms and related technologies, with opportunities to broaden skills in a supportive, local business. A DBS check may be required and a full UK driving licence is essential.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in at least one discipline (security or life safety)
- Experience with servicing, installation, or commissioning
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Own basic hand tools
- Good spoken and written English
- Willingness to complete a DBS check
Responsibilities
- Install, service and commission security and life-safety systems across commercial environments
- Work with access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms, automatic doors and related equipment
- Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality installation and ongoing maintenance
