Job summary

Global Fire and Security Systems in Nottinghamshire is looking for an experienced Fire and Security Systems Service Engineer - Electrical. This field-based role involves carrying out electrical fire life safety works, maintenance, repairs and installations across Nottinghamshire postcodes.

You will work on planned maintenance, respond to service needs, and ensure safety procedures are followed. A UK driving licence is required; the role offers a competitive salary, door-to-door pay, overtime and

Qualifications

City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent (desirable)
IEE 18th Edition Regulations (desirable)
FIA Qualifications
Experience in dealing with all types of electrical fire life safety works
Knowledge of Health and Safety and safe working practices
Strong customer care focus
Be proactive and capable of anticipating potential faults
Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weights of up to 25kg

Responsibilities

To undertake electrical fire life safety works within Nottinghamshire in an efficient and safe manner.
To ensure planned maintenance is carried out on schedule.
To report defects during service visits.
To carry out electrical repairs and installations as appropriate.
To maintain logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
To ensure safety procedures are followed and documentation completed on time.
