Job summary

Ranger Fire & Security Group in Manchester is hiring a Fire & Security Engineer to install and maintain fire alarms, CCTV and access control across varied sites. You’ll be joining a growing national group with strong progression opportunities and comprehensive training.

You will work on PPMs, support a 24-hour callout rota, and use leading systems such as Gent and Fireclass. A full UK driving licence and FIA/BAFE desirable are required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer.
Strong knowledge of CCTV, fire alarms and detection systems, and access control.
Confidence with IP/networked systems.
Full UK driving licence.
FIA / BAFE certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

Installing and maintaining fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and extinguishers.
Delivering high-quality PPM and supporting a 24-hour callout rota.
Getting hands-on with upgrades, commissioning and system programming.
Working across varied sites no two days look the same.
