Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire and Security Engineer to join a well-established engineering firm.

Role Details

This is a full-time position offering a salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 along with benefits.

As a Fire and Security Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Installing fire, intruder, access control, and CCTV systems across various client sites.
2. Liaising with site teams and end users to ensure high standards of installation.
3. Performing diagnostic testing and fault finding.
4. Completing installation records and related documentation accurately.
5. Following strict health and safety procedures at all times.

Candidate Requirements

Ideal candidates will have:

1. Previous experience as a Fire and Security Engineer or in similar roles such as Fire Engineer, Security Engineer, Fire Alarm Engineer, CCTV Engineer, etc.
2. Experience with major manufacturers like Hikvision, Dahua, Paxton, TDSi, Salto, Protec, Hochiki, Apollo, Texecom, and Galaxy.
3. Knowledge of wiring standards.
4. Skills in network management and understanding network protocols.
5. A full UK driving license.
6. Residency near the job location.
