Are you currently working in the fire and security industry and ready for your next challenge? We're looking for a skilled Small Works Fire and Security Engineer to join our team in the West Midlands.

In this role, you'll be providing second fixings to clients' alarm systems, emergency lighting, and security systems. The role also includes occasional PPMs on alarms and fire extinguisher servicing, helping to ensure all systems remain safe, compliant, and operational.

What we offer:

• Salary of GBP30,000 - GBP40,000
• Company vehicle
• 10% commission on parts used during first fix
• Overtime paid door-to-door at 1.5x (Monday to Saturday) and 2x (Sunday)
• Travel time included for journeys over two hours
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and an extra day off for your birthday

Key responsibilities:

• Replace and test emergency lighting to ensure functionality and safety compliance
• Perform occasional PPMs on fire and security systems

Requirements:

• Electrical qualification preferred; proven electrical background acceptable
• Knowledge of fire and security regulations and ability to advise clients
• Experience with fire alarm panels such as GENT, Advance, Kentec; GENT certification is advantageous
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the West Midlands
