Job summary

Get Staff is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their team in Plymouth and the wider South West. The role focuses mainly on fire alarm systems while offering opportunities to train in security systems.

The position is permanent and full-time, with door-to-door travel paid, an on-call rota, company vehicle and fuel card, and a pension scheme. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Willingness to cross train into security systems if required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault finding and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, fault-find, and repair a range of Fire alarm systems, Intruder alarms, CCTV & Access control
• Carry out approximately 80% fire and 20% security systems work
• Work across a variety of commercial and industrial premises
• Cover the South West region, with the majority of work based in Plymouth and some in Exeter
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule

Fire & Security Engineer Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join an established team covering Plymouth and the wider South West.

This is a predominantly fire focused role, making it ideal for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer who is interested in developing their skills across security systems.

Fire & Security Engineer Role & Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, fault-find, and repair a range of Fire alarm systems, Intruder alarms, CCTV & Access control
