Job summary
Get Staff is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our Plymouth team, covering the South West with a fire-first focus.
You will service, fault-find, and repair fire alarm systems, with some intruder alarms, CCTV and access control across commercial and industrial sites. On-call rota and a company vehicle are provided.
A full UK driving licence and strong customer service skills are essential for independent, cross-training work.
Qualifications
- Experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work across commercial and industrial premises.
- Willing to cross-train into security systems.
- Strong fault finding and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, fault-find, and repair a range of Fire alarm systems, Intruder alarms, CCTV & Access control.
- Carry out approximately 80% fire and 20% security systems work.
- Work across a variety of commercial and industrial premises.
- Cover the South West region, with the majority of work based in Plymouth and some in Exeter.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
