Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Fire & Security Design Engineer to provide technical design support across Fire and/or Security projects during the delivery phase.

You will ensure solutions remain compliant, practical, and aligned to client requirements, in a hybrid environment with two office days per week. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Installers and customers to review designs, manage changes, resolve queries, and support project delivery from post-design through

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Fire and/or Security post-design engineering role.
• BS5839-1 knowledge or equivalent industry standards.
• Experience on projects valued at £500k+.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across Fire and/or Security projects during the delivery phase.
• Review and develop design information to support project execution.
• Ensure designs and documentation comply with standards, specifications and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Installers, customers and stakeholders to resolve queries.
• Produce and update technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
