Job summary

North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Fire Safety and Security Officer to be the Competent Person for fire safety across the Trust. The role includes carrying out fire risk assessments, advising Estates and other teams, and ensuring compliance with fire safety requirements for high patient care standards.

The post also oversees security of Trust premises and ensures door entry and other security systems operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• The role requires robust fire safety knowledge and ability to assess risks across multiple sites.
• Experience with security systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations is desirable.
• Strong communication with Estates and other teams is essential.
