University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Fire & Security Manager to lead fire safety and security services across its Derbyshire sites. You will provide strategic direction, oversee contracts, and ensure compliance with legislation, NHS guidance and best practice to safeguard patients, staff and assets.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Fire Safety, Security Management or related discipline.
• NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate (or equivalent).
• NEBOSH General Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire safety and security across UHDB hospital sites.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for fire safety management and security service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, NHS guidance and best practice.
• Oversee contracted-out security services and contract performance.
