Job summary

Clear Safety is seeking a Development & Remediation Fire Safety Inspector to join our London team. Hybrid role with responsibilities across site audits, pre-handover inspections, and technical reporting for social housing projects.

The role emphasizes both fieldwork and advisory duties, with progression toward broader fire safety consultancy within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will hold NEBOSH General and a Fire Safety & Risk Management Certificate (or Level 3 FRA recognized by

Qualifications

• CPD records demonstrating ongoing professional development.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance.
• Driving licence and ability to travel for site work.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for client liaison.
• Willingness to travel within London and beyond as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with fire safety specifications and strategies.
• Perform Pre-Handover and Pre-Occupation inspections related to fire provisions.
• Produce technical fire safety reports from inspections.
• Provide fire safety oversight and advice to clients, both written and oral.
• Represent the company at site and virtual meetings as needed.
• Ensure client compliance with current legislation and guidance (B regulations).
• Survey fire doors and fire stopping; oversee certification data and competencies.
