HD Surveyors Ltd. is seeking a Building Surveyor with a fire safety and compliance bias to deliver surveys, reports and statutory guidance across social housing assets. The role blends inspection, reporting and advisory work with hybrid site-based duties, reporting to a Partner.

This permanent post involves running instructions with oversight and a focus on regulatory compliance. The position requires a Building Surveying degree with MRICS or progress towards, and proven consultancy-based

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline required.
• MRICS or working towards expected for consultancy leadership.
• Fire safety/health and safety experience beneficial for role.

Responsabilités

• Deliver building surveying instructions with integrated fire safety and health and safety compliance.
• Undertake condition surveys, defect diagnosis and remedial reporting.
• Complete fire risk assessments and fire safety surveys across residential portfolios.
• Provide compliance advice under fire safety and health and safety legislation.
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
• Produce tender analysis and contract documentation.
• Administer contracts under JCT forms.
• Manage projects including stock condition surveys and EPC-related work.
• Prepare and submit planning and building regulations applications.

Regulatory Fire Safety knowledge

CDM Regulations knowledge

Building Surveying degree

NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable)
