Norfolk County Council's Fire and Rescue team is committed to the safety of its residents. The Building Safety Regulator is responsible for ensuring the safety of tall buildings. This role primarily involves working for the building safety regulator as part of the regional team assembled by fire services, while employed by Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service.
As a fire safety inspector, you will undertake inspections of buildings in Norfolk in accordance with their risk-based inspection programme and assess fire safety arrangements in tall buildings as part of applications for building safety certificates through the building safety regulator. This may involve site visits and liaising with responsible and accountable persons.
