Job summary

Selwood Housing Group is seeking a Compliance Project Surveyor (Level 3) to lead safety-critical compliance programmes across our social housing portfolio, focusing on fire safety, water hygiene, lift and lifting Equipment safety. You will plan, manage contracts from inception to delivery, monitor contractor performance, and work with colleagues and stakeholders to drive high standards and safer homes.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or equivalent experience in Construction, Building Surveying, or related discipline.
• Significant experience managing compliance contracts and projects in a social housing environment.
• Strong budget management and contractor performance management experience.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and contribute to policy/procedure development.
• Possession of a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
• Commitment to an inclusive, respectful workplace.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance contracts and projects across the housing portfolio from planning through delivery.
• Drive fire safety, water hygiene, lift and lifting equipment safety programmes and other non-M&E compliance work.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure works meet safety, regulatory and quality standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders to drive high standards of compliance.
• Support development of policies and procedures and coach less experienced team members.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of compliance services and customer outcomes.
