Suffolk County Council’s Fire and Rescue Service Protection Team is seeking a Business Engagement Officer to lead engagement with businesses, coordinate multi‑agency Impact Days, and support PAS.

You will analyse data on Unwanted Fire Signals, advise on fire safety, and contribute to consultations on Battery Energy Storage Systems and solar installations, working with Prevention, Protection and Response teams.

Formación

• Experience of working with businesses, partners or stakeholders.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, proactive with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge with team support.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across Suffolk.

Responsabilidades

• Engage with businesses to provide practical fire safety guidance.
• Analyse Unwanted Fire Signals data to identify trends.
• Deliver multi-agency Impact Days and support the PAS.
• Contribute to consultations on BESS and solar installations.
• Collaborate with Prevention, Protection and Response teams to improve safety.
