Job summary

Suffolk County Council’s Fire and Rescue Service Protection Team is seeking a Remediation Officer in Lowestoft to improve fire safety in high-risk buildings and support remediation projects. This role focuses on delivering statutory fire protection duties and advising on complex cases across the county.

• Evaluate fire risk assessments and adequacy of arrangements.
• Provide specialist advice to housing providers, developers, businesses.
• Support investigations and enforcement as needed.
• Collaborate with building control bodies and partners.
