Job summary

A property consultancy firm in Greater London is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to support the Building Safety Team. The role involves overseeing fire safety projects, providing expert advice, and managing compliance with regulations on building safety. Qualified candidates should hold MRICS or FRICS designation and have experience with Higher-Risk Buildings. Qualifications

• Experience working on Higher-Risk Buildings and Building Safety Cases.
• Ability to interpret technical Building Safety reports.
• Experience with various standard forms of contract in a Building Safety Remediation role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fire door and fire compartmentation remediation schemes.
• Provide technical guidance on Fire Safety issues to clients.
• Manage external consultants and contractors for compliance solutions.
• Contribute to Building Safety Case Reports and submissions.

Skills

Understanding of key Building Safety legislation

Ability to manage multiple Building Safety instructions

Strong knowledge of Passive Fire Protection systems

Client relationship management

Education

MRICS or FRICS chartered surveyor qualification

Fire Safety or Building Control qualifications
