Job summary

Peninsula Group is seeking a knowledgeable Fire Safety Advisor to join a forward-thinking team. You will provide expert fire safety guidance, oversee QA for Fire Risk Assessors, and ensure compliance with BAFE standards to deliver high-quality services.

You will support clients by phone and email, update safety management systems and risk assessments, and liaise with external enforcement where needed to help clients navigate legislation and deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Relevant practitioner experience in fire safety.
• Familiarity with BAFE standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert fire safety advice and oversee QA for a team of Fire Risk Assessors and Validators.
• Support clients by telephone and email to address fire safety concerns.
• Stay up to date with legislative changes and ensure team compliance.
• Liaise with external enforcement agencies on behalf of clients where approved.
• Update fire safety management systems and risk assessments per client requests.
• Assist in creating Fire Guidance Notes, Standard Phrases and Checklists for various jurisdictions serviced by Peninsula.
