Job summary

The Portfolio Group Inc. is seeking a knowledgeable Fire Safety Advisor to join a dynamic team in the United Kingdom. You will provide expert fire safety advice, oversee QA for a team of Fire Risk Assessors and Validators, and ensure compliance with BAFE standards.

• Relevant practitioner experience in fire safety.
• Familiarity with BAFE standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert fire safety advice and QA oversight for a team of Fire Risk Assessors and Validators.
• Offer prompt telephone and email support to client concerns.
• Stay updated on legislation changes to keep the team compliant.
• Assist clients in using online systems and initiate proactive client calls.
• Manage complaints and service issues to maintain client satisfaction.
• Maintain familiarity with BAFE standards and manage BAFE systems for Peninsula Group clients.
• Specialize in fire safety using practitioner experience.
• Interface with external enforcement agencies on behalf of clients when requested.
• Update fire safety management systems and risk assessments per client requests.
• Ensure all advice meets BAFE requirements and standards.
• Contribute to development of fire systems and eLearning modules.
• Create Fire Guidance Notes, Standard Phrases, and Checklists for jurisdictions serviced by Peninsula.
