Job summary

Brandon James seeks an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to support a growing portfolio across Manchester and the North West. You will carry out detailed risk assessments for residential, commercial and mixed-use properties, delivering practical fire safety guidance.

The role requires independent delivery, strong knowledge of UK fire legislation, and a Level 3/4 FRA. Hybrid working, with progression opportunities and CPD support.

Qualifications

Recognised Fire Risk Assessment or Fire Safety qualification.
Experience delivering fire risk assessments independently.
Strong knowledge of current UK fire safety legislation and guidance.

Responsibilities

Completing fire risk assessments across a range of property types.
Identifying hazards, defects and areas of non-compliance.
Reviewing means of escape, fire doors, compartmentation and fire safety systems.
Producing clear reports with prioritised remedial recommendations.
Advising clients on fire safety responsibilities and required actions.
Reviewing existing fire safety documentation.
Liaising with property managers, building owners and contractors.
Managing site visits across Manchester and surrounding areas.
