Brandon James Limited in Leeds is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join the new regional team. You will perform fire risk assessments across residential and commercial premises, support the reporting process via tablet systems, and help build a robust regional standard. Hybrid and flexible working are offered, with clear progression toward leadership or specialist roles within the fire safety consultancy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience carrying out fire risk assessments.
• A recognised fire risk assessment qualification.
• Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out fire risk assessments across residential and commercial premises.
• Completing reports through a tablet-based assessment system.
• Taking ownership of project portfolios alongside senior technical support.
• Assisting with quality assurance and validation as experience develops.
• Supporting and mentoring new assessors joining the team.
• Helping establish regional standards and ways of working.
• Contributing to improvements in reporting systems, data and live action tracking.
• Maintaining technical knowledge through regular training and CPD.
