Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor in South Yorkshire for hybrid working. You will carry out type 1 risk assessments across public sector sites, ensure compliance, and advise on risk-reduction actions.

You’ll manage your diary with site visits and report writing as part of a quality-focused team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years’ Type 1 fire risk experience, a public sector background, and NEBOSH Fire Safety certification, with professional membership desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience completing type 1 fire risk assessments.
• Proven experience in the public sector.
• Ability to curate accurate reports and communicate them clearly.

Fire Risk Assessor qualifications / experience:

• Minimum 2 years' experience completing type 1 fire risk assessments
• Proven experience working in the public sector
• Ability to curate accurate reports and be able to communicate them carefully
• NEBOSH Fire Safety
• Registered with a professional body (IFE/IFSM) (desirable)
