Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting a Fire Risk Assessor to manage risk assessments across public sector properties in South Yorkshire. This permanent role offers hybrid working and the chance to structure your own diary, visiting sites and preparing reports to a high standard.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience completing type 1 fire risk assessments, NEBOSH Fire Safety certification, and be familiar with public sector requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience completing type 1 fire risk assessments.
• Proven experience working in the public sector.
• Ability to curate accurate reports and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Carry out type 1 fire risk assessments across a variety of properties.
• Ensure all work meets industry regulations, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
• Identify actions required to reduce risk and provide advice to internal customers.
• Manage workload on your own time, including site visits and report write-ups.
