Job summary

Bimplus in London is seeking a dedicated Fire Risk Assessor to deliver risk assessments across our residential portfolio. You will review records, inspect communal areas and work closely with property managers and contractors to maintain safety standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure. NEBOSH or related qualifications are desirable, and you should be comfortable building long-term relationships with landlords.

Responsibilities

Job description

My client, a global property services group are looking for Fire Risk Assessors due to growing the internal team. You will be joining at an exciting stage as you help to deliver the fire safety services across the residential portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Carrying out necessary fire risk assessments across the residential portfolio of the group
• Reviewing previous assessments, maintenance records, contractor reports and fire strategies
• Inspecting communal areas, fire doors, alarm systems, emergency lighting and other relevant fire safety measures
• Working directly with property managers, clients, contractors and the senior leadership team
• Reviewing own work and helping colleagues to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality
• Prioritising assessments according to the risk level and managing own diary

Must have:

• Fire risk assessment experience across residential buildings
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organised and punctual
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• A keen problem solver and good under pressure
• Client facing
• Strong administration and excellent IT skills
• Ability to build long-term relationships with landlords
• Positive and encouraging attitude

Good to have but not essential:

• NEBOSH
• FireQual
• The Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) or National Fire Risk Assessors Register (NFRAR)
• ABBE Level 3 Award in Fire Door Inspection
• Other related qualifications also considered
