Job summary

Greenlite Group is seeking a Fire & Emergency Lighting Engineer to perform planned servicing, maintenance, testing, and reactive fault-finding for commercial and retail clients. The role requires on-site customer interaction and accurate service reporting.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on fire alarm and emergency lighting experience, BS 5839-1 knowledge, and a full UK driving licence. Occasional overnight stays may be required within Leicester, Northampton, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on fire alarm service and maintenance experience.
• Emergency lighting servicing and testing experience.
• Knowledge of relevant British Standards, BS 5839-1.

Responsibilities

• Fire alarm servicing, maintenance and fault finding.
• Fire alarm remedial works.
• Emergency lighting servicing, testing and remedial works.
• Planned maintenance and reactive fault-finding.
• Complete service reports and certification accurately.
• Work independently and liaise directly with customers on site.
• Travel throughout the allocated territory and occasionally further afield.
