Job summary

Greenlite Group is looking for an experienced Fire & Emergency Lighting Engineer to carry out planned servicing, maintenance, testing, reactive fault-finding and remedial works across a commercial and retail client base. The successful engineer must be comfortable working independently, dealing directly with customers on site and completing service reports and certification accurately.

Ideal home base is Leicester, Northampton or surrounding areas with travel across the Midlands and occasional

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on fire alarm service and maintenance experience.
• Emergency lighting servicing and testing experience.
• Knowledge of relevant British Standards, BS 5839-1.

Location / Territory: Leicester, Northampton and surrounding Midlands areas, with travel across the Midlands and surrounding areas. Occasional travel further afield and overnight stays may be required.

Desirable Experience

• Fire alarm installation and commissioning experience
• Previous experience in commercial and/or retail environments

Essential Requirements

• Strong hands-on fire alarm service and maintenance experience
• Emergency lighting servicing and testing experience
• Knowledge of relevant British Standards, particularly BS 5839-1
• Strong fault-finding and remedial works capability
• Accurate reporting and certification skills
• Ability to work independently
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable with occasional overnight stays
