Stoneacre Motor Group is recruiting a Fire & Emergency Lighting Engineer to join the Facilities Management team. You will travel to branches to install, service, and maintain fire and emergency lighting systems, ensuring compliance with BS5839-1 and BS5266.

You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and manage documentation while providing professional client support. A full driving licence and willingness to travel across the country are required.

Formación

• BS5839-1 and BS5266 knowledge of installed systems.
• Experience in maintenance/installation & commissioning of fire & emergency lighting.
• FIA certification or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, work well independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• BS7671:2018 18th Edition IEE wiring (advantage).
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Solid understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
• ECS/CSCS Card (Preferred).
• IPAF (Preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Carry out all works to BS5839 & BS5266 requirements.
• Install, service, and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• Work on multiple system type installations; commissioning addressable and non-addressable systems.
• Respond to reactive calls for all branches.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and upgrades.
• Meet project deadlines and communicate risks promptly.
• Document work completed, service reports, certifications, and logs per FIA/BAFE.
• Provide professional customer service and guidance on system use and upkeep.
• Adhere to health and safety, maintain company vehicle and equipment.
• Undertake relevant training and develop apprenticeship skills as needed.
