Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Fire Compliance Supervisor to drive fire safety compliance across a portfolio of properties. You will coordinate inspections, manage remedial works, and review reports to ensure timely, safe completion.

The role requires knowledge of fire safety regs, experience with contractors and strong administrative skills. A full UK driving licence is essential, and there are clear opportunities for professional development within a leading facilities management organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire compliance, facilities management or similar environment.
• Knowledge of fire safety regulations, fire doors, passive fire protection, and compliance processes.
• Experience managing contractors, planned maintenance, and remedial works across multiple sites.
• Strong administrative, organisational, and reporting skills with the ability to review compliance documentation.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fire safety inspections, maintenance programmes, remedial works and compliance projects across multiple sites.
• Review fire door and fire stopping reports and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure works are completed safely, on time and to required quality standards.
• Carry out final inspections and sign-off checks on completed projects and remedial works.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and reports in line with current fire regulations and company procedures.

• Coordinate fire safety inspections, maintenance programmes, remedial works, and compliance projects across multiple sites.
• Conduct fire door and fire stopping inspections, reviewing reports and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure all works are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
• Carry out final inspections and sign-off checks on completed projects and remedial works.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and reports while ensuring adherence to current fire regulations and company procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• Experience within fire compliance, facilities management, building compliance, property maintenance, or a similar environment.
• Knowledge of fire safety regulations, fire doors, passive fire protection, and compliance processes.
• Experience managing contractors, planned maintenance, and remedial works across multiple sites.
• Strong administrative, organisational, and reporting skills, with the ability to review compliance documentation.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications

The following qualifications would be an advantage, but are not essential:

• IFE Level 3 Certificate in Fire Safety.
• CFPA Fire Safety Qualification.
• Membership of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (MIFSM).
• Other relevant fire safety, compliance, or facilities management qualifications.
