Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Birmingham is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to help make the built environment safer. This 40-hour-per-week role offers a salary in the £40,000–£50,000 range and opportunities to develop expertise.

You will conduct fire safety risk assessments, door surveys and compartmentation, produce reports for clients, and keep up with fire safety legislation. Flexible site-based work at offices or client sites.

Qualificações

• A degree or qualification in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety (desirable)
• Registered with the IFSM, IFE or similar competency scheme (minimum intermediate level)
• Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments, fire door surveys and compartmentation surveys
• Strong understanding of current fire safety regulations and legislation
• Exceptional communication skills — the ability to engage and inform clients with ease
