Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Fire Compliance Supervisor in Lossiemouth for a full-time, site-based role. You will coordinate fire safety inspections, manage contractors, and ensure compliance across sites in the UK, reporting on progress and maintaining records.

A strong focus on safety, documentation, and regulatory adherence is essential. We value experience in fire compliance or facilities management, ability to review reports, and driving to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience within fire compliance, facilities management, or a similar environment.
• Knowledge of fire safety regulations, fire doors, passive fire protection, and compliance processes.
• Experience managing contractors across multiple sites.
• Strong administrative, organisational, and reporting skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Coordinate fire safety inspections, maintenance programmes, remedial works, and compliance projects across multiple sites.
• Conduct fire door and fire stopping inspections, reviewing reports and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure all works are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
• Carry out final inspections and sign-off checks on completed projects and remedial works.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and reports while ensuring adherence to current fire regulations and company procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• Experience within fire compliance, facilities management, building compliance, property maintenance, or a similar environment.
• Knowledge of fire safety regulations, fire doors, passive fire protection, and compliance processes.
• Experience managing contractors, planned maintenance, and remedial works across multiple sites.
• Strong administrative, organisational, and reporting skills, with the ability to review compliance documentation.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications

The following qualifications would be an advantage, but are not essential:

• IFE Level 3 Certificate in Fire Safety.
• CFPA Fire Safety Qualification.
• FDIS Certified Fire Door Inspector.
• Membership of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (MIFSM).
• Other relevant fire safety, compliance, or facilities management qualifications.
