Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Fire Resilience Crew Driver to join a deployment-based team that supports UK Fire Services during major incidents and emergencies. The role requires readiness for rapid mobilization and a full UK/EU driving licence with Cat C qualifications.

Initial training lasts 12 days at the Fire Service College in Moreton-In-Marsh, followed by ongoing 5‑day emergency driver training and annual 6‑day refreshers. You will travel nationally to respond to incidents.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks.
• Must hold a Cat C licence for a minimum of 1 year.
• Ability to travel nationwide and operate under emergency conditions.

Responsibilities

• Engage in ongoing training to maintain deployable status, including a 12‑day initial training and annual refreshers.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance checks on fire engine and equipment.
• Mobilise quickly to Central London and designated emergency locations as needed.
• Support emergency response activities and operate under safety protocols.
