Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Fire Appliance Driver for deployment across the UK. The role requires a Cat C licence for at least 1 year, strong physical fitness, and readiness to undergo dedicated training to operate fire engines and hydraulic equipment during emergencies.

You will participate in a structured training program at the Fire Service College in Moreton-In-Marsh, perform daily vehicle checks, and be mobilised to emergency locations as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform rigorous physical tasks and stand-down readiness.
• Maintenance of deployable status through ongoing training and drills.
• Ability to travel nationwide and operate under safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Engage in ongoing training including a 12-day initial program and annual refreshers.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance checks on fire engine and equipment.
• Mobilise quickly to Central London and other emergency locations as needed.
• Support emergency response activities and act within deployment readiness.
