Fire & Security Supervisor

We’re looking for an experienced Fire & Security Supervisor to lead technical delivery across a major residential contract in North London. You’ll have real responsibility, the opportunity to develop engineers around you and the backing of an established, family-run business with over 25 years in the industry.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be the go-to technical expert, making sure fire and security works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Your role will include:

• Leading, supporting and developing engineers and specialist operatives
• Overseeing maintenance, inspections, testing, repairs and remedials
• Carrying out site inspections and quality checks
• Reviewing and signing off certification before it reaches the client
• Managing specialist subcontractors and holding them accountable for quality
• Providing technical guidance, delivering toolbox talks and resolving compliance issues
• Supporting quotes, variations and work-in-progress to keep jobs on track

You’ll oversee a broad range of systems, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, AOVs, access control, CCTV, door entry, automatic doors and gates, and evacuation alert systems.

What you’ll bring

• Experience supervising fire and security maintenance, ideally in social housing or another regulated residential environment
• Knowledge of BAFE SP203-1 accredited activities
• FIA qualifications or equivalent
• Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems and associated equipment
• Experience managing specialist subcontractors and maintaining compliance standards
• Good IT skills including Microsoft 365 and certification management systems
