Job summary

Secure & Recruit is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to service and maintain a range of systems across London and the M25. The role includes fault-finding, repairs and working across high-security environments including prisons, hospitals and airports.

A full UK driving licence is required, with BS7858 screening and EL1 clearance as part of the process. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the Fire & Security industry.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass BS7858 screening.
• Ability to obtain EL1 security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and fault-finding Fire & Security systems.
• Carrying out repairs and remedial works on commercial sites.
• Working across prisons, hospitals, airports and other secure environments.
• Travel across London and the M25; occasional trips to surrounding counties.
• Delivering a high standard of technical work and customer service.

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

Package

• £35,000 – £45,000 basic salary
• Company van provided
• 37.5-hour working week – 8:30am–4:00pm
• 5% bonus on quoted works (up to £5,000 per quote)
• 1-in-4 on-call rota – £20 per day
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days

Role Overview

Due to continued requirements across the region, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join the engineering team.

• Servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on a range of Fire & Security systems.
• Carrying out repairs and remedial works across commercial sites.
• Working across a varied portfolio, including prisons, hospitals, airports and other secure environments.
• Covering predominantly London and the M25, with some travel across Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent and Sussex.
• Delivering a high standard of technical work and customer service.

Requirements
