Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Fire & Security Service Engineer to service and maintain fire alarm and electronic security systems across a mix of commercial sites in London and surrounding areas.

You will perform preventative maintenance, fault finding, and reactive repairs, ensuring high standards and regulatory compliance while delivering excellent customer service and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Fire & Security Service Engineer.
• Good technical knowledge of fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Experience in fault finding, servicing and maintenance.
• A relevant industry qualification or manufacturer training.
• A professional approach with good customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on fire & security systems.
• Fault finding and diagnostics across intruder alarms, CCTV and access control.
• Complete service reports and relevant documentation.
• Ensure work complies with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.

Locations: North London / NW London / West London / Surrey

Are you an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer looking for your next opportunity with a well-established, national fire and security installation and services business?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a growing team, working across a varied portfolio of commercial clients and sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, servicing and reactive repairs across a range of fire and security systems.

Duties will include:

• Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and carrying out system repairs.
• Working on a range of electronic security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV and access control.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs.
• Ensuring all work is completed to relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Completing accurate service reports and relevant documentation.

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to speak with engineers who have:

• Previous experience in a Fire & Security Service Engineer position.
• Good technical knowledge of fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Experience in fault finding, servicing and maintenance.
• A relevant industry qualification or manufacturer training.
• A professional approach with good customer-facing skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
