Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer (also considering Fire Alarm Engineers)

Location of Works: Surrey – possibility of some London work

The Company: Highly accredited Fire and Security company specializing in the installation, service, and maintenance of Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms.

Package:

• £38-45,000 basic salary (Dependent on experience)
• OTE: £50,000
• 25 days' holiday + bank holidays (increasing by 1 day every 5 years, paid at an average rate including overtime)
• Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way
• Call outs paid door to door (optional participation)
• Health Cash plans (covering dental, opticians, etc.)
• Overtime available
• Bonuses paid quarterly (based on overtime worked)
• Van included – private use available
• Mobile phone and tablet provided

Main Responsibilities:

• Servicing Fire alarms, Intruder alarms, Access Control, CCTV, and Emergency lights
• Participating in the call-out rota – currently 1 week in 9
• Working independently with confidence
• Completing works in line with British standards
• Reporting to line managers and completing proper paperwork

Knowledge and Experience:

• 3+ years' experience in the Fire and Security industry servicing Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and Emergency Lighting
• Electrical experience such as 18th Edition preferred
• Knowledge of Fire Extinguishers is desirable
• Full UK driving license with 0 points preferred
• ECS and CSCS cards are desirable
