Job summary

iFire UK, part of the Ranger Group, is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join the Edinburgh team. You will install and commission fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and emergency lighting with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence and strong fault-finding skills. FIA, ECS, CSCS, IPAF or PASMA qualifications are advantageous, with clear career progression within iFire and Ranger Group.

Qualifications

• Previous fire & security installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm, access control and emergency lighting systems.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Test, commission and hand over completed systems.
• Complete documentation accurately.
