Job summary

iFire UK, part of Ranger Group, is seeking a Fire & Security Installation Engineer in Edinburgh to install and commission fire alarms, CCTV, access control and other systems across Scotland.

You will read drawings, test and hand over systems, maintain safety standards, and build strong customer relationships. FIA, ECS, CSCS, IPAF or PASMA qualifications are advantageous; full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Previous Fire & Security installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and customer focus.
• FIA, ECS, CSCS, IPAF or PASMA qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm, access control and emergency lighting systems.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Test, commission and hand over completed systems.
• Complete documentation accurately.

The Role

As a Fire & Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and commissioning fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and emergency lighting systems while ensuring exceptional quality, safety and customer service.
