Job summary

Secure and Recruit Ltd in London is seeking a Fire & Security Estimator / Design Engineer to design and estimate fire and/or security systems for diverse projects.

Responsibilities include producing accurate quotations, reviewing project requirements, and liaising with internal teams and customers. 1–3 years' relevant experience can start at £45,000 with potential to reach £50,000; 25 days' annual leave and a hybrid setup with 1 day working from home.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fire or security estimating and/or design.
• Suitable for candidates with 1-3 years' relevant experience looking to develop, as well as more experienced Estimators or Design Engineers.
• Good technical understanding and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Location: London

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 basic, depending on experience

• 1 day working from home, with 3-4 days office-based

Role overview

• Produce designs and estimations for fire and/or security systems.


• Prepare accurate quotations and costings for a variety of projects.


• Work across projects within offices, hospitals and data centres.


• Review project requirements and specifications to ensure suitable system designs.


• Liaise with internal teams and customers to support project delivery.


• Work with either fire or security systems, as experience in both is not essential.

Experience required

• Previous experience in fire or security estimating and/or design.


• A background in either fire or security systems will be considered; experience in both is not required.
