Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a Fire and Security Engineer to cover the Cornwall area on a permanent basis. You will handle planned maintenance, repairs, and a little installation across a large contract, with a company van and travel time included.

The role requires a strong background in fire and security, a Full UK driving licence, and ideally electrical qualifications. No on-call duties are required, with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in fire and security maintenance and repair.
• Based in Cornwall with Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with MX systems and Kentec systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance and repairs on fire and security systems.
• Assist with installation work as required.

Position: Fire and Security Engineer

Location: Covering the Cornwall area

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £38,000 to £40,000 plus travel time and over time. NO ON CALL

We are looking for an experienced Fire and Security Engineer for a full time, permanent position covering planned maintenance, repairs and a small amount of installation in the Cornwall area.

This engineer will be covering one large contract in the Cornwall area. They will be dealing with planned maintenance and repairs of equipment including extinguishers. This will also include Advanced MX Systems and Kentec Systems.

The right person for this position will already have a strong background in Fire and Security Maintenance and repair. It would be a bonus if this person has completed manufacturing qualifications and some electrical qualifications.

This is a mobile position, however there is also a bonus of not having an on call.

Requirements

• Strong technical background in fire and security
• Based in the Cornwall area
• Full UK driving licence
• Electrical qualification would be a bonus
• Must have experience on MX systems and Kentecsystems
• Happy to travel throughout Cornwall
