Job Purpose
To be the technical specialist for designated stores responsible for undertaking first call response to Fire, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA, Automatic Pedestrian Gates.
Key Accountabilities
- Undertake maintenance and repairs in accordance with KPIs set by the customer, including response, repair, first fix, and closure.
- Ensure all planned, reactive, and statutory works for CCTV engineers are carried out as per contractual obligations in the CityFM Bookcase.
- Complete PPM works within agreed timescales and ensure all paperwork is accurately completed.
- Respond promptly to service requests from the Helpdesk during normal hours and on call, referring out-of-hours issues to specialists.
- Order parts as required, ensuring prompt delivery and following up on outstanding parts.
- Complete all necessary paperwork to measure performance and undertake surveys as required.
- Regularly communicate with the Duty Manager during store visits about repair and maintenance issues.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are available and in good condition.
- Carry out Fire PPM visits to BS5839 and ensure fire alarm systems comply with standards, reporting defects as necessary.
- Be aware of relevant regulations and codes of practice.
- Notify the helpdesk of procedural task conditions upon work completion.
- Conduct surveys and complete reports as directed by supervisors or technical specialists.
