Summary of Role
You will contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of security solutions for our clients.
What you will be doing
- Installing and configuring CCTV systems, including cameras, monitors, recording equipment, and network connections, based on client specifications and industry best practices.
- Conducting routine maintenance to ensure CCTV systems are in optimal working condition. Identifying and resolving hardware, software, or network issues promptly. Planning and executing system upgrades as needed.
- Investigating and resolving CCTV system malfunctions through fault finding and diagnostics. Addressing issues involving cameras, cables, monitors, power supplies, and network connections.
- Upgrades and Enhancements: Collaborating with clients to understand their evolving security needs and recommending system upgrades or enhancements. Working with vendors and suppliers to source components and implement improvements.
- Maintaining accurate records of CCTV installations, including diagrams, configurations, and maintenance schedules. Producing reports on system performance, faults, repairs, and upgrades.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, including data protection and GDPR.
- Providing excellent customer support by guiding clients in system setup and usage. Responding promptly to inquiries and service requests.
What we will need from you
- Experience in CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with industry-standard CCTV equipment, software, and tools.
- Knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing, LAN, and cabling.
- Understanding of data protection and privacy standards.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and team members.
