Job description

Summary of Role

You will contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of security solutions for our clients.

What you will be doing

  1. Installing and configuring CCTV systems, including cameras, monitors, recording equipment, and network connections, based on client specifications and industry best practices.
  2. Conducting routine maintenance to ensure CCTV systems are in optimal working condition. Identifying and resolving hardware, software, or network issues promptly. Planning and executing system upgrades as needed.
  3. Investigating and resolving CCTV system malfunctions through fault finding and diagnostics. Addressing issues involving cameras, cables, monitors, power supplies, and network connections.
  4. Upgrades and Enhancements: Collaborating with clients to understand their evolving security needs and recommending system upgrades or enhancements. Working with vendors and suppliers to source components and implement improvements.
  5. Maintaining accurate records of CCTV installations, including diagrams, configurations, and maintenance schedules. Producing reports on system performance, faults, repairs, and upgrades.
  6. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, including data protection and GDPR.
  7. Providing excellent customer support by guiding clients in system setup and usage. Responding promptly to inquiries and service requests.

What we will need from you

  • Experience in CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard CCTV equipment, software, and tools.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing, LAN, and cabling.
  • Understanding of data protection and privacy standards.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and team members.
