Job summary

Options Resourcing Ltd is assisting in finding a Service and Maintenance Engineer for fire and security systems based in Leicester. The role focuses on servicing, fault finding, and repairs with occasional installation and day-work duties.

You will programme and test devices, maintain safety standards, and ensure accurate timesheet submissions while liaising with customers and other contractors. On offer is a company vehicle, overtime, pension, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing fire and/or security systems.
• Strong fault-finding skills.

• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, fault finding, and repair of fire and security systems.

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety policies.
• Accurate completion of timesheets.

• Reporting faults and deficiencies to the line manager.
• Attending training courses when required.
• Supervising and mentoring trainee engineers when needed.

Service and Maintenance Engineer - Fire & Security

Location: Leicester

Salary: Up to £40,000 + package

We are seeking a skilled Service / Installation Engineer to carry out service, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on fire and security systems. This role is mainly service based, with some installation and day works required.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing, fault finding, and repair of fire and security systems
