Job summary

FS Recruitment Services seeks a Fire & Security Service Engineer for a Huddersfield client to service, maintain and install fire alarm, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems. The role requires 2+ years' relevant experience and a full UK driving licence, with a focus on fault-finding and customer-facing work.

You will work on-site, benefit from a company van with personal use, and have access to ongoing training and clear career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience servicing and installing fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarms.
• Sound technical knowledge across these disciplines.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage workload and route.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair fire alarm, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
• Install new systems and carry out upgrades to a high standard.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, ideally on the first visit.
• Complete accurate job sheets, service reports and compliance paperwork.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and represent the company professionally on site.
• Work in line with relevant British Standards, health and safety requirements and company procedures.

The Fire and Security Engineer Role

Our client, an established fire and security company, is looking for a Fire & Security Service Engineer to join their team in Huddersfield. You will service, maintain and install a range of fire and security systems for a varied customer base, with the backing of a company that invests in its engineers and offers clear routes for progression.

Key Responsibilities for the Fire and Security Engineer

• The fire and security engineer will Service, maintain and repair fire alarm, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems
• The fire and security engineer will Install new systems and carry out upgrades to a high standard
• The fire and security engineer will Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, ideally on the first visit
• The fire and security engineer will Complete accurate job sheets, service reports and compliance paperwork
• Maintain strong customer relationships and represent the company professionally on site
• Work in line with relevant British Standards, health and safety requirements and company procedures

About You
