Fire and Security Engineer – Mobile role with a van
Door to Door travel paid. Company van provided.
Location: Bristol region, commuting distance to Bristol. The role involves mixing service and maintenance work with small installation and commissioning projects. The company is rapidly growing and works in partnership with an established facilities management firm covering the South West and South Wales.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Service and maintenance of fire and security alarm systems in commercial properties.
- Small / minor works installations and commissioning (Senior Engineer).
- Foster effective communication between the company and our valued customers.
- Collaborate as part of a team, covering a specific geographical area.
- Execute site installations in accordance with specifications and plans.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance in line with contractual agreements.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed after job completion.
- Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist with technical questions and concerns.
- Uphold high standards in team working practices.
- Support company policies and best practices, especially regarding the protection of sensitive customer information.
- Be responsive to any reasonable requests from management.
Capabilities and Competencies
- A strong dedication to providing excellent customer service.

- Proficiency in working with computers.

- A good understanding of fire alarm systems (Desirable - GENT or TYCO experience)
- Previous experience within an installation or maintenance position is essential.
Remuneration Package
- Senior Engineer salary: £45-50k
- Engineer salary: £38-42k
- Door to door travel paid.
