Job summary

Trapeze Recruitment Services Ltd in Central London seeks a Fire Alarm Service Technician to service, maintain and fault-find across multiple client sites. This is a field-based role with a company vehicle and daily travel.

You will hold a Full UK driving licence and have proven experience servicing fire alarm systems (BS 5839), with strong fault-finding, attention to detail and excellent customer-facing skills.

Job description

Working for a growing family run business, you will be responsible for carrying out the Fire Alarm servicing, maintenance, and fault finding across multiple Central London sites.

You will work Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:30.

This role is field based, with daily travel to client sites. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided for work use only.

Primary Responsibilities of Fire Alarm Service Technician

• Service and maintain fire alarm systems (BS 5839)
• Fault finding and reactive repairs
• Identify system issues, coverage gaps, and recommend improvements
• Complete service reports and compliance documentation

Requirements of Fire Alarm Service Technician

• Full UK driving licence required
• Proven experience servicing fire alarm systems
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Good knowledge of BS 5839
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your daily schedule
