Johnson Controls is hiring a Fire Alarm Service Engineer for a static site in the North East. You will join an on-site team maintaining fire alarm and detection systems, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering reliable service to the client.

The role requires experience with fire detection systems, strong communication, and a proactive approach. You will train in gas suppression, attend toolbox talks, and participate in an on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing fire detection systems and panels.
• Willingness to train in gas suppression systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Complete accurate on-site documentation.
• Attend training and toolbox talks.
• Liaise with site contacts for permits to work.
• Support occasional passive fire tasks.
• Provide out-of-hours call-out cover (rota).
• Identify and report safety or compliance risks.
• Follow site-specific safety and quality rules.
• Represent Johnson Controls professionally.
